Sybil Deyarmon Gibson (Alabama, 1908-1995) folk art mixed media on paper grocery bag painting depicting a still life with brightly colored flowers. Signed "Sybil Gibson" in ink, lower right. Float mounted in a contemporary giltwood frame with a white liner under plexiglass. Sight: 16 3/4" H x 13 1/4" W. Framed: 22 1/4" H x 18 1/8" W.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with one tear to paper in upper right corner, may have occurred during the work's production. Some loss to acrylic paint in center, largest area 1/2".
