West Tennessee Albany slip stoneware pottery pitcher, attributed to the Currier and Weaver pottery, possibly William Weaver & John Currier, working 1887 – 1909. Pitcher with rolled rim, C-shaped handle with prominent impressed thumb mold, and molded mid-section. Inscribed on the lower body below the spout "Mrs. Mary Shepard, July 12th 1898" and "Paris, Tenn" to the lower body below the handle. 9 1/4" H.
