Piedmont, North Carolina, salt-glazed stoneware pottery jug stamped J.M. YOW for John M. Yow (Randolph County, 1860-1906). Slightly ovoid form jug with a pulled handle applied to the shoulder and the neck, and salt-glaze drips around the upper shoulder. Stamped J.M.YOW ERECT NC opposite the handle. 11 1/2" H. Late 19th/early 20th century.
CONDITION: Very good condition with a few minor scattered firing flaws.
