Eleven (11) Bohemian glass items, most with Mary Gregory decoration of children in landscape settings, including 9 barber bottles or vases: 1 amethyst, 2 green, 4 cranberry, and 2 clear; plus 1 blue bottle with female bust decoration and 1 green ewer. 9 pieces have rough pontils. The 2 bottles depicting children with tennis rackets have polished pontils. Heights range from 6 3/4"H to 10 1/2"h. Late 19th to mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Mary Ann Denney, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minimal wear to white/cameo decoration.. Some pieces exhibit wear to gilding at necks. Cranberry glass bottle depicting a girl holding a flower has a tiny chip at upper rim, other rims are free of chips. Some bottles exhibit interior abrasions around neck from stoppers. Blue bottle has imperfection at neck, in the making.
