Lot 205: 4 Whaling Related Items, incl. Oil Lamp & Bone Pie Crimper

Collection of four whaling-related items including: a carved and turned whale bone pie crimper, a whale oil lamp made by Poole’s Pewter Company of Taunton, Massachusetts; a pair of silver metal candlewick scissors with anchor mark; and a whale oil spoon or pourer with shaped bowl. All items are 19th century and range in size from 4 1/2 in. L to 7 5/8 in. L. 

CONDITION: Pie crimper in good condition. All metal items with some bending and wear due to use.
