Western North Carolina salt-glazed stoneware pottery pitcher stamped W. W. BALLARD (Wilkes County, 1852-1894) below the spout and two incised bands at the midsection. Pulled handle applied from the flared rim to the lower shoulder and the handle terminating with a centered thumbprint. 7 1/2" H. Last quarter 19th century
CONDITION: Very good condition with minor losses on the spout.
