Later molded giltwood frame with egg and dart border and gold fillet. Sight – 3-1/2" H x 4-3/4" W. Framed – 13-1/2" H x 14-3/4" W. Both images from a group of watercolors executed 1831-1837. Provenance: Estate of Salli LaGrone, Franklin, Tennessee, acquired from Didier Inc., New Orleans. Condition: Both in very good condition with some minor wear and toning. Item 1: small tears at lower edge.
