Very large Edo or Meiji Satsuma bowl or charger, the center enameled with decoration of a bird in a landscape, the interior and exterior sides enameled with decoration of flying cranes and gilt sun or floral medallions. Gilt markings to underside. 4" H x 19" dia. Circa 1850-1900. CONDITION: 1 1/2" linear repair to rim/side, otherwise very good condition.
