French Louis XV style gilt mounted mahogany center table, circular form with slightly protruding corners, variegated marble top with inlaid circular red marble, over a skirt with serpentine lower edge and satyr mask swag mounts; cabriole legs with cartouche and foliate mounts, terminating in paw foot sabots, joined by four subtly S-curved stretchers with foliate and rosette mounts, issuing from a central ball-and-ring turned pedestal with arrow foot. 29 1/4" H x 41 1/4" dia. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Minute wear to varnish primarily to stretchers; minute surface scratches to lower edge of one stretcher. Minor surface wear to marble including faint circular stain.
