Two sepia painted miniature pins or brooches. 1st item: Mourning brooch with sepia and possibly macerated hair decoration depicting lovebirds perched on an urn atop a tomb. Oval gold frame, 1" H x 1/2" W. 2nd item: Navette shaped brooch with sepia painted depiction of a woman and a lamb standing by a fence. Gold frame with engraved decoration. 1-1/2" H x 1" W. Both probably English, early 19th century. Provenance: Estate of Salli LaGrone, Franklin, Tennessee. Condition: Both pieces with some light scratching to glass.
