Seven (7) Henry Ardmore Sandercock (United Kingdom, 1838-1887) ink on paper drawings depicting life in rural England. All drawings signed with "S" monogram in ink, lower left and right. Three drawings signed "H. Sandercock" in pencil, top and lower left. Five drawings with extraneous pencil notations by artist. All drawings housed in contemporary frames. Ranging in size from Sight – 5 7/8" H x 7 7/8" W, Framed – 8 3/4" H x 10 3/4" W to Sight – 7 5/8" H x 10 3/4" W, Framed – 13 1/4" H x 16 1/4" W. British, mid/late 19th century. CONDITION: Overall good condition. Drawings exhibit toning, foxing spots, largest 1/4", to be expected from age. Sticky residue, surface of glass of drawing with dog (does not affect drawing). Not examined outside of frames.
