Two Greene County, Tennessee pottery jars. 1st item – Stoneware transitional jar with extruded lug handles and flattened rim. Interior with red clay color. 11" H. 2nd item – Earthenware creampot jar with tapered rim and bell shaped profile. Couple of areas with lead glaze drip. Interior glazed. 5 7/8"H. Mid 19th century. Provenance: Betty Irene Yates estate, Greeneville, TN. Condition: 1st item – Overall excellent condition, couple of shallow chips to inside rim and base edge. 2nd item – Overall very good condition with a couple of tiny glaze flakes.
