Middle Tennessee sugar chest, cherry with poplar secondary wood. Dovetailed locking top case and hinged top, interior undivided. Upper dovetailed case rests on a stand with a single dovetailed drawer with wooden pulls. Bulbous ring turned legs, terminating in ball and spike feet. Henry & Williamson County history. 38 3/4" H x 23 3/4" W x 15 7/8" D. Provenance: Kingston, TN collection. Condition: Overall very good condition with older refinish. Replaced mid and top molding, replaced hinges to lid with patches. Later lock modification. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with older refinish.
