Ladies 21K yellow gold pendant featuring a circular watercolor portrait miniature of a woman, with a cut quartz cover. The gold back is accented by thirteen (13) rose cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.26 carats, Clarity-SI2, Color-I. The pendant XRF tests 21K gold and measures 1". The gross weight of the pendant is 9.68 grams. American, Mid-19th century.
PROVENANCE: By descent in the historic Pinckney family of Runnymede Plantation, South Carolina.
CONDITION: Quartz cover with some minute chips and scratching.
