Chinese Qing Famille Rose enameled porcelain plaque attributed to Qianjing artist Yu Ziming (1843-1911). Depicts a maiden leaning on the branch of a flowering tree, with branches of a willow visible overhead and a red gate or fence in the background. Signature and seal, upper left section. Circa 1891. 10" H x 6"W. Housed in a molded giltwood frame with carved corners, 11"H x 7"W.
CONDITION: Good condition with no cracks or crazing. Some light wear to enameling. Old tape residue, lower right, which we have not attempted to remove. Some scattered, faint grime. Wear and small corner loss to frame.
