Rockwell Kent (American 1882-1971) graphite and watercolor on paper nude figure study. A woman seen from behind raises her arms above her head. Watercolor highlights describe her red hair, the blush of her cheek, and her skin tone. With Rockwell Kent ink stamp, lower right. Floated under glass in a wood frame with white mat. Sheet: 14 1/2 in H x 10 1/2 in W. Frame: 22 in H x 18 in W.
PROVENANCE: The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, with minor, uneven toning to sheet due to previous mat. Sheet is mounted at corners. Not examined outside of frame.
