Continental carved marble bust sculpture depicting Napoleon attired in a military uniform and hat with crest, seated on a later round marble pedestal, supported by a wood dowel. Unsigned. 25" H x 17" W x 10 1/2" D. Possibly Italian, 19th Century.
PROVENANCE: The collection of a Tennessee institution.
CONDITION: Repaired break to collar and repair to lower right section of bust. Some overall light chipping and overall chipping and wear to pedestal.
