Framed Berlin KPM hand-painted porcelain plaque titled “The Three Fates” based on a painting by Friedrich Paul Thumann (Germany, 1834 – 1908). Depicts the mythological Three Fates: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos. KPM mark en verso together with the numbers 118-287 and additional writing. Housed in a Florentine-style gilt wood frame and textured gilt wood mat. Sight: 8 1/4 in. H x 6 1/8 in. W. Framed: 17 7/8 in. H x 16 in. W. Early 20th century.

PROVENANCE: The Estate of George Bradley, Lewisburg, TN.

CONDITION: Plaque is in overall good condition. Gilt wood mat has tight shrinkage separations at each corner and a few small abrasions. Old repair to the frame’s lower left corner.
