East Tennessee walnut 16 pane corner cupboard, attributed to Knox County, TN. Cove cornice over glazed doors with eight panes each, medial section with a bank of three scratch beaded and lipped drawers, the center nailed drawer with inlaid diamond flanked by two false drawers. Lower paneled doors, shaped apron and tapered feet. Upper and lower sections with chamfered corners, straight back returns. Secondary wood yellow pine and poplar, four shelves upper section, two lower section. Note unusual graduation of glazed panes for top section. 86 3/8"H x 43 3/4" W x 20" D. Circa 1825. Blount County, Tennessee Collection. Provenance: Blount County, TN Living Estate. Condition: Older surface, replaced glass panes with newer wood slats securing each pane, breaks around lips of false drawers, lower apron with evidence of past insect damage, minor abrasions to case.
