Tennessee Hepplewhite tall chest of drawers, cherry primary and yellow pine secondary. Two drawers over four graduated drawers ending with splayed French feet, shaped apron and returns. Simple molding around top, dovetailed drawers with scratch beaded fronts, old brass pulls. 50 1/2"H x 37 5/8"W x 21"D. First quarter of the 19th century. Provenance: Blount County, TN Living Estate. Condition: Older refinished surface, Interior drawer supports replaced to support weight of yellow pine drawers. Some minor chips to front feet tips, lower backboard and possible back blocks of rear feet later replacements.
