After Edward Francis McCartan (American, 1879-1947), pair of bronze candlesticks, depicting young male and female nude figures, standing atop globes and holding amphora urns. Inscribed “E McCartan” on bases. Each mounted on 3/4 in. H marble plinths. 17 1/8 in. H overall. Mid to late 20th century. 

 

PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection.

CONDITION: Each marble base has a small paint dot or filled hole. Otherwise, in very good condition.
