Lot 1102: 3 Antique Tekke Turkmen Bags

Group of three (3) antique Tekke Turkman wool on wool rugs, woven in primary colors of red, blue, and cream, including: an Ersari Torba, 4 ft. 10 in. x 1 ft. 7 in., circa 1875; a Yomud or Yomut bag with batwing border, 3 ft.  x 1 ft. 6 in., circa 1880; and a Tekke bagface, 1 ft. 10 in. x 1 ft. 5 inches. Circa 1880.

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: All with scattered light wear, wear to margins.
