Lot 1097: 4 Antique Turkmen Tekke Torba Weavings

Group of four (4) antique Turkmen Tekke Torba weavings including: a Tekke Red Ak-Chuval circa 1870 ( 2 ft. 5 in. x 1 ft. 11 in.), a small Tekke bag circa 1870 (2 ft.  11 in. x 1 ft. 6 in.), a Tekke Ak-Torba circa 1880 (3 ft. 1 in. x 1 ft. 2 in.) and a Tekke Ak-Chuval circa 1860 (3 ft. 4 in. x 2 ft. 5 in.).

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition with scattered staining. 2nd item: Some scattered holes and wear. 3rd item: Some fading, losses to the upper corner, and wear to borders. 4th item: Some color run, staining, scattered holes.
