Lot 1093: Continental Heart Motif Hanging Cupboard, 19th C.

Continental hanging wall cupboard, likely Ash. Flaring arched cornice over a curved block front case featuring a hinged tombstone door with relief carved heart motif to center, flanked on each side by a shaped, recessed panel with raised center molding. Square nail construction throughout. 21 1/4 in. H x 20 in. W x 8 in. D. Northern European, mid-19th century.

PROVENANCE: The estate of Eugenia Moore. 

CONDITION: 1 in. area of repair to door (upper right). Repair to cornice. Scattered abrasions and wear. Some old pest damage to back of pediment. Lacks key.
