2 Antique Turkmen tribal Chuval weavings, including a Yomud Chuval with a central gul design and a lower elem panel with stylized diamond decoration, and a Tekke Chuval featuring a panel with 30 guls and a lower elem panel with stylized geometric decoration. 4 ft. 11 in. × 2 ft. 6 in., circa 1880, and 4 ft. 5 in. × 2 ft. 5 in., circa 1875.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Yomud Chuval with repairs to the top left and loss to fringed ends. The Tekke Chuval has repair patches to the border; it is in overall good condition.
