Antique Turkmen Tekke Ensi rug, wool on wool construction. Central cruciform design having four panels with bird head designs and a wide lower elem panel with stylized floral designs. Woven in brick red, blue, and cream colors. 5 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 11 in. Circa 1890.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, losses to fringed ends, even pile wear.
