Pennsylvania one (1) gallon stoneware pottery lidded cake crock with cobalt feather decoration to the lid and the body. “1” within a circle impressed beneath one handle indicating capacity. 7 in. H x 9 1/2 in. dia. 19th century.
CONDITION: Part of the lid is unglazed with a tight hairline from the knob to outer rim. Rim of crock with a couple of vertical firing cracks, longest approx. 2 in., and with a couple of shallow chips.
