Large 18th century Spanish Colonial polychrome painted and carved wood santos figure of St. Michael, depicted standing, atop an oval base. 43 in. H x 10 in. W x 8 in. D.

PROVENANCE: Private West Tennessee Collection.

CONDITION: Age related shrinkage cracks to both base and figure; repair and losses to arms; scattered wear and pest damage. UV light inspection reveals scattered paint touchups throughout.
