1st item: Bronze bowl crafted in a yellow brass-like color, with impressed Aubock stamp below a flared rim. Purchased at Werkstatte Carl Aubock in Vienna, Austria, November 1954. Supplemental materials include a signed letter with provenance and photocopy of an Aubock trade card, which served as the receipt at the time. Bowl is sketched on one side of the card and priced “85,” and to verso “Werkstatte Carl Aubock, Wien VII, Bernardgasse 23, Telephon B 39-2-67.” 8 1/2 in. W x 6 in. H. 2nd item: Lidded pan-style ash tray in an aluminum material with bamboo handle, stamped “Aubock / Made in Austria,” with additional “V” mark inside lid hinge. 12 in. L x 3 1/2 in. H 3rd-4th items: Pair of fish bottle openers, 1 wrapped in a woven, braided leather cord, and the other with leather, each stamped “Stainless / Aubock / Made in Austria.” 9 1/2 in. L x 1 1/2 in. W. PROVENANCE: Irene Sullivan Estate, Oak Ridge, TN descendant of the Callahan family of Knoxville, TN.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition. Slight tarnish to pan and bowl in spots, and light scuffs/scratches to bottle openers. Note: Supplemental material for the bowl is only a photocopy, not the original card.
