19th century Southeast Asian, likely Mewar Pichwai painting, gouache on silk, possibly depicting Krishna and Gopi beside a body of water with stylized water lilies, and a background filled with lush trees. Unsigned. Border has been wrapped around a backing board for framing. Molded giltwood frame with rust colored velvet sight edge. Sight: 28 1/2"H x 35"W. Framed: 38"H x 32"W.
CONDITION: Several areas of surface wear and small losses scattered throughout the painting. Edges have been taped to foam core board for framing.
