Five (5) Chinese decorative items. 1st item: Gilt bronze "Hundred Boys" rectangular form box with lobed corners having a hinged lid and body with bone and champleve enamel decorations of male children and flowers. Unmarked. 1 1/2" H x 5 1/4" W x 4" D. 2nd item: Oval brass-mounted wooden box having inlaid mother of pearl lid depicting male figures in a landscape setting with temple structures, surrounded by a band of longevity symbols and flowers, additional inlaid mother of pearl images depicting birds on flowering branches to sides of lid and interior of box. Includes a handwritten card indicating that the box had been purchased from an antique store in Hong Kong, circa 1959, and a handwritten label to interior of lid. 3" H x 9 1/4" W x 6" D. 3rd-4th items: Two (2) cloisonne ginger jars with foliate and ruyi head decorations on a red ground, with turquoise glazed interiors. Stamped "CHINA" to underside of bases. 5 1/4" H x 4 1/2" dia. 5th item: Cinnabar carved baluster form vase depicting scholars in a landscape setting with bands of scrolling foliate decorations. Unmarked. 9 7/8" H x 5 1/2" dia. All items 19th/20th century.

PROVENANCE: The Collection of Karen Wentz, Knoxville, Tennessee.

CONDITION: 1st item:Tarnish to exterior, some bone decorations are slightly loose. 2nd item: Natural age shrinkage to wood, largest 6". Hairlines, separations, areas of loss, largest 1 1/4" x 1/2" to mother of pearl inlay to lid and loss to inlay on tail of bird around the sides. Some brass mountings are slightly loose. 3rd-4th items: Minor losses to cloisonne. One jar with 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" bruise/dent to lower body. 5th item: Craquelure, 1/8" x 1 1/2" area of loss to rim.
