Large Chinese blue and white porcelain punch bowl or basin with flared rim having the eight Taoist Immortals among cloud motifs depicted on the exterior; a wide band to the interior rim with landscape scene; and a central interior vignette with gourd, fan, and flute precious object motifs bordered by two concentric circles. Marked with four character mark to underside. Raised on an associated fitted hardwood stand. 6 1/2" H x 15" dia. Overall with stand: 8" H. 20th century.

CONDITION: Overall very good condition with scattered crazing throughout, minute wear to glaze including area of fluorescence to interior, approximately 1/4" visible under UV light inspection, and minor surface scratches to interior.
