Two (2) Chinese Famille Rose porcelain ginger jars, mounted as lamps, with lids having conical finials, including one (1) depicting a figural landscape with nobleman gathered around a figure reading an outstretched scroll, bat motif, decorative bands to neck and base, and two figures to lid (13" H x approx. 8 1/4" dia.); and one (1) depicting flowering vases on on stands, precious objects, insects, and two figures to lid. Both affixed to pierced hardwood stand mounted with metal shaft terminating in harp surmounted by green hardstone orb finial (12 3/4" H x approx. 8 1/2" dia.). Both with paper labels affixed to undersides of lid and bases. Approximately overall with mountings: 29 1/8" H x 8 1/2" W x 8 3/4" D. 19th century.
CONDITION: Both in overall very good condition with minute fleabites to rim; affixed to bases. Jar with figural landscape having minute loss to polychrome decoration measuring 1" L.
