Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Chuval rug, central deep rust or brick red field with four rows of four guls. Woven in colors of rust, brown, blue, red, and cream. 3 ft 11 in x 2 ft 2 in. Circa 1880''s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with even pile wear. One approx 1/2" horizontal semi-tear to lower right quadrant.
