Two (2) late 19th century rugs fashioned as pillows including a Kurdish pillow and Baluch pillow, both wool on wool. Kurdish pillow with geometric designs to the front, blue velvet back, and woven in red, blue, and brown colors. Kurdish pillow with radiating diamond design to the front, woven striped back, and colors of red, blue, black, brown, and cream. Kurdish pillow: 1 ft 5 in x 1 ft 4 in x 0 ft 5 in. Baluch pillow: 2 ft 2 in x 2 ft 0 in.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Both pillows overall good condition.
