Our Fall 2014 auction bidding opens Thursday, September 25 and ends Wednesday, October 8. Case is honored to present Asian antiques and decorative arts from the estate of Dr. Barbara K. Newton, along with objects from other fine Southeastern estates and collections. Dr. Barbara Newton was a veterinarian whose passion for dragons led her to establish a privately owned museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This museum housed, among other things, her lifelong collection of Chinese and Japanese dragon-related decorative arts. This auction features what are believed to be the finest dragon-themed decorative arts from Dr. Newton’s collection.
