Eutrope Bouret (French, 1833-1906) bronze sculpture of a nymph in a peasant dress accentuated with "wet" drapery, holding a stringed instrument and small wings on her back. She is supported by a brick column to her left adorned with flowers and plants at the base. Inscribed BOURET on column. Without base – 15" H. With base – 17 1/4" H. 6 1/8" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century. CONDITION: Overall good condition. Headstock of stringed instrument bent. Warm patina.
