A one gallon salt-glazed stoneware pottery jug stamped M. W. Owen (Manley William Owen, Piedmont County, NC). Stamped on the upper shoulder near the applied pulled handle. 10" H. Circa 1860 – 1880. Condition: Old chip to spout. Scattered firing imperfections to body.
