Pair of Louis XVI style variegated rouge marble urns or cassolettes with decorative ormolu mounts, including pinecone finials, swan's neck handles and laurel bands. Mounted on square acanthus leaf decorated gilt-bronze bases. 20-1/2" H. Continental, late 19th century. Condition: Overall very good condition. One gilt bronze collar with slight separation near rim underside (approx. 1/2"L).
