1st item: Art Deco bronze table lamp and inkwell, consisting of a stepped base with a single bulb, a rectangular clear glass divider and an inkwell with figural deer finial to the cover. Underside of base marked AKTA BRONS. 10" H (w/glass) x 8" W. Circa 1920's, European. 2nd item: European gilt bronze double inkwell with removable glass inkwells having hinged bronze lids and oval pen tray. Unmarked, possibly English. Late 19th century. 4 1/8" H x 9 3/4" W x 6 5/8" D. 3rd item: Art Nouveau or Asian gilt bronze bottle form vase with ruffled rim and curved handles terminating into relief water lily flowers and leaves. Two impressed character marks to the base. 10 3/8" H. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Thomas Bechtel, Memphis, TN.
CONDITION: 1st item: Original glass not present, current glass divider is a replacement, losses to one corner. Not tested for functionality. 2nd item: Glass inkwells possibly not original to the base, overall general wear, some light pitting and oxidation. 3rd item: Overall good condition, some scattered losses to gilt finish, scattered losses primarily to lower body. A couple areas of minor dings to lower body.
