French wind-up bird cage musical automaton. Comprised of a circular gilt-brass cage containing a two birds, one on a perch, and the other on the floor, stamped "321" by the lever and marked "MADE IN FRANCE" on the base underside. Retains the winding key. 19 1/2" H x 10 1/2" dia. Early 20th century.

CONDITION: Automaton functioning at time of inspection. Some losses to gilt brass finish and fading to cage floor lining. Winding key is present.
