Signed on each handle CH and additionally signed on the base CHESTER HEWELL/CSA and dated 1995. 14" H. 2nd item: Stephen Ferrell (South Carolina, 20th century) Edgefield district pottery jar with olive green glaze and blue rutile drips below the rolled rim. Signed below one lug handle FERRELL and initialed ED/SC within an incised pottery jar below the other. 11" H.
