Ten (10) Herend hand-painted porcelain animal related items, most with gilt highlights throughout. 1st-8th items: Eight (8) animal figurines having fishnet decorations, including one (1) red seated cat; one (1) red bathing cat; one (1) pair of red bunnies; one (1) pair of green ducks; one (1) blue duck; one (1) red guinea fowl on a naturalistic base; one (1) red bunny; and one (1) red duck. Guinea fowl and duck pair with handwritten labels affixed to underside of bases. Ranging in size from 1 5/8" to 6" H. 9th item: First Edition rectangular box having a handpainted image of a pair of ducks with green fishnet decoration to lid, all on a white ground. Handwritten label reading "First Edition" affixed to underside of base. 2" H x 5 1/2" W x 3 3/4" D. 10th item: Jewelry or trinket dish having a frog perched atop a naturalistic trefoil base. Possibly signed "Torund" back right of dish below frog. 2 1/2" H x 6 1/2" W x 6 1/4" D. All items with blue Herend stamp mark and numbers to underside of bases. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private East Tennessee collection.
