Antique Continental, likely French or Swiss, verge fusee key-wind pocket watch, featuring an enameled dial decorated with a classical landscape scene. The gilt movement is finely engraved with foliate motifs and set with four inset rubies. The regulator is marked “R A” with “Avance” (fast) and “Retard” (slow) indicators for time adjustment. The inner silver case back is stamped “I3752” and “AH” above “W” together with additional engravings along the inner silver case edges. The silver case XRF tests .90 silver. Approx. 55mm. 18th century or earlier.
