Classical period drink mixing table, attributed Anthony Quervelle, highly figured mahogany with yellow pine secondary wood. White marble top over ogee frieze supported by s-scroll brackets. Hinged cabinet door with trapezoidal mirrored front, opening to a compartment with shelf. Plinth base with s-scroll brackets and half rounded feet on suppressed balls. Retains key. 38 1/2"H x 35 1/2"W x 17"D. American, possibly Philadelphia, circa 1825. Provenance: estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: Veneer patch below mirror, scattered chips and restored cracks especially at door near hinges, some losses of silvering to mirror at upper left. French polished.
