Large Persian Heriz rug or carpet, wool on cotton. Large central medallion with various foliate and palmette designs flanked by ivory ground foliate spandrels on a red ground, all within three primary borders. 150 1/2" H x 117" W. Mid-20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with general use wear. Scattered staining, color fading to one side, wear along edges.
