Four (4) Folk Art items. 1st item: American copper pressed hollow body weathervane depicting an eagle, standing atop a hollow ball on arrow above two additional hollow balls with brass cardinal direction indicators, all atop a cast iron standard. 45" total H x 22" W x 16 1/2" D. green patina. 2nd item: Carved and painted wood eagle, depicted with outstretched wings and mounted on a square wooden base, painted in blue and white. 39" W x 20" D x 14" H. 3rd & 4th items: Pair of carved and painted wooden cherub wall hangings with trumpets, traces of white paint. 21 1/2" W x 6 1/2" H. All items 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Eagle with losses to one leg (missing foot) and old repairs to the other. Overall expected general wear with oxidation to patina. 2nd item: Overall good condition with expected general wear and scattered losses to painted surface. 3rd & 4th items: Overall good condition with expected general wear and scattered losses to painted surface.
