Diminutive benchmade inlaid cherry corner cupboard, one-piece construction, poplar secondary. Arched pediment with flame finial above two string inlaid paneled doors, opening to reveal two scalloped shelves and one plain shelf, above three molded dovetailed medial drawers with string inlay. Lower case with two line inlaid paneled doors opening to one scalloped shelf, the whole resting on shaped bracket feet, extensions of stiles, with a band of contrasting inlay at skirt. 87 1/2" H x 42 1/2" W x19 7/8" D. Kentucky, early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Mark Anthony Grant Estate, Clarksville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Refinished surface, hardware missing on lower doors, some staining to interior shelving.
