Eight (8) Hicks, Meigh, & Johnson ironstone Imari pattern pottery tureens and accessories with cobalt, iron-red, and parcel gilt designs of flowering branches surrounding a central medallion which depicts a vase of flowers in front of a low railing having pierced, interlacing handles and finials, including one (1) large round soup tureen with one (1) underplate and one (1) large ladle, one (1) rectangular tureen, three (3) round tureens, and one (1) small ladle. All tureens and underplate stamped with blue crown and "Real Stone China" banner maker's mark, iron-red painter's mark, and "170" to underside. Ranging in size from 6 3/4" L to 10 1/2" H (tureen) and 13 7/8" dia. (underplate). English, circa 1820-1835.

PROVENANCE: The Collection of Dr. Joe Newsom Rawlings, Davisboro, Georgia.

CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered minor wear to glaze including minor surface scratches and minor scattered residue to surface. Large tureen with minute area of crazing to lid. One smaller round tureen with minor spidering hairline. Both ladles with glued breaks to handles, smaller with staple repair.
