St. Louis, Missouri agricultural coin silver julep cup or beaker, with reeded footring and flared reeded lip, marked on underside R. BEAUVAIS in rectangle, and ST. LOUIS in second rectangle (Rene Beauvais, working St. Louis circa 1838-1898). Worn engraved inscription, "St.L CAS" for the St. Louis County Agricultural Society, to front center of side. 3 1/4"H. 4.12 oz troy. Mid 19th century.
CONDITION: Several shallow dents up to 1/4"L, some scattered scratches.
